Information for visitors
Museum of Organic Culture incorporates three museums:
The concept of "organic culture" first appeared in 1923 when Mikhail Matyushin headed a similarly-named department in the State Institute of Artistic Culture."The main task of the Organic Culture department was to check, confirm or clarify experimentally (in laboratory studies) some naturally obtained features and interactions of the principal means of the plastic language, namely, form and colour, and, later on, to determine their susceptibility to sound influence. The works of artists and photographers exhibited in the Museum of Organic Culture all reflect their common ideological concept of world view and world perception as an integral organic structure regulated by eternal rules of Law, Order and Development. A.V. Povelikhina, art history expert.
