1971 - 1976 studied at the Faculty of Art and Graphics at the Nizhny Tagil State Pedagogic Institute. Teachers: Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation L. I. Perevalov and K. P. Cherepanov. In 1983 - became a member of the Union of Artists of the Soviet Union. In 1996 - was awarded the title of Honoured Artist of Russia. Lives and works in Moscow.
