Yury Gobanov. Interview

It seems, it was in September of 1972. I arranged a meeting with V. V. Sterligov. He invited me to visit him in his apartment in New Peterhof. This meeting I remember because of the extraordinary richness of conversation, when pointing to the wall with the picture of "A feast in Cana of Galilee", I heard the question, delivered with all the force: "What do we have?"

And still I think over this question.

In my works, I seek to extract from the natural motif natural structural characteristics.
