Since 1930 lived in Leningrad. From 1946 to 1954, studied at Leningrad Higher School of Industrial Art named after V.I. Mukhina. Participated in exhibitions since 1957. From 1964 to 1973, was a member of Vladimir Sterligov’s group. From 1954 to 1969. worked at the Leningrad Porcelain Plant, his compositions runs numbered up to 150 thousand items. The author of many monumental and decorative works in the different areas of the former Soviet Union and abroad. Follows the principles of «Sterligov school» in addressing spatial problems of large compositions, in most drawings and painting experiments. Lives and works in St. Petersburg. Member of the Union of Artists.
